Reagents Available by Request

Please acknowledge the lab if you use these reagents on your publications.

pG14-MS2-GFP:
An episomal yeast expression plasmid containing the MS2-binding protein fused to GFP. This protein also contains a NLS and a HA tag. The auxotropic marker is LEU2.

pSL-MS2-6X, -12X, -24X:
6, 12, or 24 MS2 stem-loops that can be excised with a BamHI/BglII digest. These plasmids must be propagated in Stbl2 competent cells (Invitrogen Cat#10268019)

Mammalian pMS2-GFP:
under the control of the promoter of the large subunit of RNA polymerase II. Contains the SV40 NLS at the C-term of eGFP (see Fusco et al., 2003).

Mammalian pMS2-YFP:
under the control of the promoter of the large subunit of RNA polymerase II. Contains the SV40 NLS at the C-term of eYFP (see Fusco et al., 2003).

eTC GFP ß-actin full length:
under control of ß-actin long promoter. Use with lumio red or lumio green (Invitrogen Cat# 45-7512 or 45-7510 respectively) (see Rodriguez et al., 2006).

eTC GFP ß-actin
ΔZip:
under control of ß-actin long promoter. Lacks the ß-actin 3’UTR. Use with lumio red or lumio green (Invitrogen Cat# 45-7512 or 45-7510 respectively) (see Rodriguez et al., 2006).
